12th Annual Sunflower Farm Festival
July 6th and 7th, 2013
Heritage crafters and artists will set up under the canopy of oaks to demonstrate their crafts and sell their hand-made items. Wonderful home-grown music will be played and delicious, local traditional summertime food will be served. Kids can participate in old fashioned games and art projects. They can take a hay ride, ride a pony, and pet their favorite barnyard friend. Everyone will want to "cut their own" sunflower bouquet, visit the Antique Tractor Show, tour the 1811 McCowan-McRee house and gardens, and shop the 1891 Sharecropper’s Country Market. All that along with the beauty of the fifteen acres of sunflowers,who could ask for more.
